Journal Information
The journal was founded in 2000, when it was issued under the name of LUCRARI STIINTIFICE (INMATEH), ISSN 1583 – 1019, as a result of necessity of widening the scientific research output communication and spreading spectrum, being edited by National Institute for Research - Development of Machines and Installations Designed for Agriculture and Food Industry-INMA Bucharest.
Starting with volume 30, no. 1/2010, the journal changed its name in INMATEH - Agricultural Engineering, appearing in print (ISSN 2068 – 4215) and on-line (ISSN 2068 – 2239) format. The journal was published bilingually, in Romanian and English languages, three times a year: January-April, May-August, September-December.
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Current status
Currently INMATEH-Agricultural Engineering is published only in English and the abstract both in English and in authors’ native language. Starting with no. 1/2016 (vol. 48), the journal is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database, on Web of Science platform, product of Clarivate Analytics (formerly the Intellectual Property and Science division of Thomson Reuters). The journal is acknowledged by CNCSIS as category B+ (2016).

INMATEH Agricultural Engineering is an open access international journal that publishes reviewed original research papers of both experimental and theoretical nature in the following areas:
