Reviewer Guidelines
INMATEH Agricultural Engineering journal follow the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (COPE).
The management of Editorial Board (INMA Bucharest) takes care that the evaluating process is correctly performed, without having any tendentious or malicious character.
The Editorial Board will make a pre-evaluation of all articles submitted for publication in the journal.
Those articles failing to reach the scientific standards of the journal may be declined without further review.
INMATEH Agricultural Engineering uses the double blind peer-review system: the authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other. The names of reviewers will not be made available to authors. Also, the authors' names and their identification data are not disclosed to the reviewers. The reviewers are requested to assure the confidentiality of all the information regarding the manuscript and the accompanying documents.
The peer-review is recorded in a standard review file, received by reviewers together with the manuscript. They would clearly analyze the paper and argument the opinion presented in the review file.
If the reviewer suspects any possible conflict of interest between himself and the received manuscript, he must decline the evaluation and return the manuscript.
The peer review process lasts approx. one-two months, but it may be longer depending on the manuscript length and required changes.
The articles will be reviewed according to the registration order.
The reviewers verify the stage of researches performed within the respective papers in compliance with the world trends, the papers drawn up by other authors, the novelty character, methodology, obtained results etc (according to the evaluating file) Reviewers may request a revision of the article to be made. In this case, it is generally understood that only one revised version can be considered for a further appraisal under the peer-review system.
Based on the review report of the editorial review board, the editor can accept, reject, or request modifications to the manuscript.
